Transparency in the production chain is a prerequisite, so you know exactly where and how the fish was farmed. Nordia Signature represents superior quality, because every step in production is carried out in accordance with stringent hygiene and food safety criteria.

In-house production

Nordia Signature products are produced in-house by Neerlandia-Urk. We are one of the leading fish processing companies in Urk, the largest fish centre in Europe, and have been for over half a century. Over 200 employees are dedicated to the processing and supply of fish. Neerlandia-Urk boasts ultra-modern processing facilities with its own deep freeze installation and storage of deep-frozen products.

Farmed sustainably with respect for nature. Treating nature with respect is a prerequisite when it comes to fish farming and we opt for produce that is fully traceable.

Salmon

Salmon has become one of the most important products in recent years. Neerlandia-Urk is centrally located in the logistics chain. With direct access to salmon farms in Norway, which aresituated within ideal distance of Neerlandia-Urk’s production facility. From there, the salmon can be distributed throughout the whole of Europe by road quickly. Neerlandia-Urk is situated close to Schiphol Airport and the Port of Rotterdam for export to the United States and the rest of the world.
